Accounts Receivable Specialist | Temp-to-Hire

Location & Schedule: 3 days per week in Tualatin, 2 days per week in NE Portland office. For the right candidate, there is flexibility, with the majority of time spent in Tualatin.

Compensation: $25-30 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Company

Our client, a well-established organization in the [manufacturing/distribution/industrial-insert correct industry here], is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing finance team. They are looking for someone confident, detail-oriented, and capable of managing AR processes independently while contributing to a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including billing, collections, and reconciliations
  • Accurately process payments and maintain customer accounts
  • Utilize QuickBooks (Pro strongly preferred) to manage AR functions
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Provide support to AP as needed; cross-training will be part of the role to ensure coverage across the accounting team
  • Contribute to process improvements and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Pro preferred)
  • Confidence and proven ability to manage AR responsibilities with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to Accounts Payable is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
